It was amusing that he considers FPTP to be completely blameless for 'triangulation' in spite of the fact that it inevitably leads to a race for the centre ground. Thus why he could only lump all the blame for the de-conservatisation on one man's shoulders.

Yes Hitch, not like the good old adversarial days is it? Think of all those poor global-warming-deniers with no one to vote for. The heart bleeds. Bring back Tebbit!
